Kirk Rich

A native of Kentucky, Kirk M. Rich is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Winner of the 2007 American Guild of Organists/Quimby Competition for Young Organists (Region V), Kirk has performed in the United States, France, and England, including the 2008 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His teachers include Douglas Reed, James David Christie, Webb Wiggins (harpsichord), and Barbara Lister-Sink (piano). Kirk is a candidate for certification in the Lister-Sink Method of Well-Coordinated, Injury-Preventive Keyboard Technique at Salem College. He is the music coordinator at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as well as the Organist-Choirmaster of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Davidson, North Carolina.
