Outreach Weekend (High School Only)

March 9-11

Good Shepherd, Rocky Mount

$60-$75 (scholarships available)

We are partnering with the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry to purchase package and deliver donations to migrant worker camps in the area.  We will also be working with various other organizations in projects that address loneliness, sickness, and helplessness.  This trip is highly encouraged.  We need to experience what it means to live as a migrant worker in this country if are to make informed decisions about immigration, taxes, and other issues that deal with people whom we do not know much about.  Registration can be completed Here

Happening (High School Only)

March 23-24

$140 (scholarships available)

In a time of crazy sports schedules, massive amounts of schoolwork, and a ridiculous number of extracurricular activities, Happening allows high schoolers to take a break from their hectic lives and reflect internally. Throughout the weekend, a variety of talks and activities, both fun and contemplative, allow Happening candidates to reflect and build on their spiritual relationship with God.  The candidates are backed by a team of high schoolers who have already undergone this experience. This team is present to help out and serve the candidates in every way possible.  The Happening is a weekend of fellowship, fun, and spiritual strengthening and I would highly recommend it to any teen looking to grow as a Christian.  Registration can be completed Here

Seder Meal

April 1st @4:00pm

The youth will again be sponsoring a Seder Meal on Passover Sunday.  The meal will be a worship service where we remember as a parish the Israelites and their exodus to freedom.  This is also a time where we remember our own journeys into freedom.  It will function like last year.  The parish will sign up to bring different items for the meal.  The youth will run the worship portion and adults will plate the meals.  We will need many parent volunteers to make this event a success.
