| Adult Education Opportunities for April and May |
Calling all Adults...to Spiritual Formation and Faith Development! We are very pleased to announce and promote what we consider a superb and balanced plate of options for adult spiritual formation and faith development, each Sunday through the end of May, 9:15-10:15a.m. Bible Study? Religion in Literature? Building Emotionally Healthy Homes? What interests you the most?
(1) Bible Study in the Neighborhood, with George Pusack, leader (704-896-1431, gwpusack@bellsouth.net) The group that met in the Stenhouse home had a great time with the Gospel of John. Now they intend to continue as they study Acts.
(2) Religion and Literature, with George Jacobs, leader (704-896-8629, georgejacobs@bellsouth.net) This fine group explores religious and theological gems in contemporary literature. They will be off for another week then resume on April 20. Contact George and join the fun. They will meet in the Rector’s office.
(3) All in the Family: Healthy Relationships in Home and Parish. Fr. David is THRILLED to be offering this course, along with local family counselor Brenda Ricketts. Designed to help us all better understand the hidden dynamics of family issues, this class will meet in the nave, starting promptly at 9:15am. Even if you haven't made Sunday morning adult spiritual formation part of your routine, consider this one for the next few weeks. We will make it user-friendly and learner-centered. |

Why? What we collect will be transfused in the surrounding community within 7 days. Each unit may save as many as three lives.
Where? Downstairs by the back entrance to St. Alban's
How to Donate? Contact Jeff Ready at 704-896-2625 or jsready@mi-connection.com to schedule an appointment. Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex in the weeks ahead. |
